Highland County Man Finds Thrills as Section Foreman.
HILLSBORO, O. May 8 -- W. S. Bishir of this county, for forty years a section foreman with the Norfolk & Western railroad, finds plenty of thrills in even his prosaic seeming job.
He has worked over almost every foot of the road in Ohio, in West Virginia and in Pennsylvania with gangs sometimes containing as many as 125 men.
Often he has given his orders through two or three interpreters. Snakes and bulls mean little to him. But he watches his step. Once he fell from a thirty-foot trestle and was in the hospital two months. [8]
