Notes |
- Patrick Boyland came to the United States circa 1836-37 and became a citizen on 10 June 1840. The family lived in Highland Co. in 1860. Patrick served in the 48th Ohio Volunteer Infantry, Co. C. Family tradition has it that he was released from Andersonville prison one month before his death, although we have not been able to find any evidence for this. [5]
