      Death Claims William Clark
      Deceased Is Resident Of Chico For 45 Years
      William Henry Clark, age 63, a popular resident of Chico for 45 years, died early last night at a local hospital following an illness of several weeks.

      He was widely known and respected here an gained a wide circle of friends not only in Chico but in surrounding valley towns while in charge of the Chico Elks Club for the past six yers.

      Clark was born at Tehama June 3, 1876, and came to Chico in early life. He was a member of Chico Arier No. 218 F. O. E. and of the Veteran Fireman.

      Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Anna A. Clark of Chico, two sons, Floyd and Harold Clark of Chico, two grandchildren, Billie and Patty Clark, one sister, Mrs. May Kuney of Sacramento, and a brother, Charles Clark, circulation manage for The Chico Record.

      Funeral arrangements are being completed by Westfall Funeral Home.
