Mrs. Nannie May Pitzer Jackson was born Sept. 4th, 1865 at Lynchburg, Ohio, and passed away May 13, 1951 in Rivera, Calif. She was the last to survive of a family of ten children. She was united in marriage to Thomas D. Jackson, July 3rd, 1885 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She leaves to mourn her loss, one son and wife - John and Edna Jackson of Pico, Calif. Two daughters - Mrs. Estelline Hamm of Whittier and Mrs. Maybelle Haas of Whittier, Calif. 5 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. One sister-in-law, Mrs. Elnora Jackson, and one brother-in-law, Mr. John Frazier, several nieces and nephews and cousins with a host of friends and neighbors. Mrs. Jackson came to Calif. with her family in 1908. After the death of her husband in 1914, she made her home with her son and his wife at 5101 Pasons Blvd., Pico. For the last three years she has lived with her daughter, Mrs. Maybelle Haas in Whittier. She was a member of the Friends Church in Whittier, but for many years she has attended the Pico Union Church. She was a charter member of the Pico Women's Club, and was active in this organization as long as her health permitted. Mrs. Jackson was a kind and loveable woman and we join with her many friends and loved ones in mourning her passing.
