MRS. LAURA JANE YADEN OF TROUT LAKE PASSES AWAY

The funeral of Mrs. Laura Jane Yaden, of Trout Lake, Wash., who died in The Dalles, Oregon, on January 29th, was held in that city with interment in the I.O.O.F. cemetery. Mrs. Yaden was 62 years of age and had resided with her family in the vicinity of Trout Lake for six years, coming here from Arkansas.

Mrs. Yaden was a member of the Priscilla Club of Trout Lake and during the war took a most active part in Red Cross work. She was also a member of the Trout Lake Grange and had been a member of the Methodist Church for thirty years. She was loved by all who knew her.

Deceased leaves to mourn her loss, a husband, J.A. Yaden, and the following children: Elmer H. Yaden of Pasco, Wash.; Mrs. Maude M. Goffin of Gervais, Oregon; Eber C. Yaden, Joseph P. Yaden and William P. Yaden of Trout Lake, besides a host of friends.

The high school pupils of Trout Lake contributed a beautiful floral offering.

Two other sons enlisted in the service of their country when the United States became involved in the great world war. Joseph P. Yaden served two years in the aviation service and went overseas. Sergeant Elmer Yaden was stationed at Camp Lewis.
